Computational solid mechanics group @ IIT Indore

Welcome to computational solid mechanics group @ IIT Indore. This group's interest mainly lies in the broad field of mechanical behavior of materials and computational solid mechanics. The research interests of the group are twofold.  First, understanding the mechanics of deformation and failure in materials through finite element simulations by employing advance plasticity theories. We implement these theories in the commercial finite element programs by writing a user defined material subroutine. Secondly, provide inputs from mechanics stand point to design material with improved mechanical properties. A brief summary of my research objectives is presented below.
